Obama has an early lead over McCain
I know it's early days yet, but Obama is ahead in the polls. One poll recently put him 12 points ahead of McCain. I suppose the all the coverage that Obama got from the primaries has to be taken into account.
Regardless the Obama McCain battle feels like a sideshow with the real election battle already been fought - Hilary vs. Obama.
